I'm Suzanne Seiling, a proud Sudbury resident who cares deeply about the community I call home. I believe local government should be practical, responsive and focused on what matters to residents—while also looking ahead to the trends, challenges and opportunities shaping our city.

I am running for Ward 10 Councillor to bring a thoughtful, collaborative and community-focused voice to City Hall.

I am passionate about building strong, healthy and resilient communities. Throughout my career, I've worked with municipalities, businesses, community organizations, Indigenous leaders, youth, different sectors and all levels of government across Canada to tackle complex challenges, bring diverse perspectives together and deliver practical results.

I believe the best decisions reflect what’s happening in our neighbourhoods, what the evidence tells us, and where we want our community to go. That means bringing residents’ experiences and ideas together with good information, thoughtful planning and an understanding of the changes shaping Sudbury’s future.

I'm running because I believe Ward 10 deserves practical, forward-looking representation at City Hall. My priorities include safer neighbourhoods, attainable housing, reliable infrastructure and services, a vibrant downtown, and protecting the parks, lakes and natural spaces that make our community special.

For me, this campaign is also about conversation. I want to hear what’s working, what isn’t, and what residents believe we could be doing differently. Those conversations—along with evidence and good planning—will help shape the ideas and initiatives I hope to champion for Ward 10 and for Greater Sudbury as a whole.

My approach combines community experience with evidence and considers where Sudbury wants to go in the future.
